Jesus Chronicles: Goodness of God

“I’m pregnant.” Those two words, from a 15 year old, that I heard at 17 years old, forever changed the course of my life, at least, the course that I planned for my life. Looking back so many years later, I can honestly, unashamedly, and unequivocally say that God is good. If it had not been for the mercy of God I don’t know where I would be. If not for His mercy in my disobedience, and then His grace in that mercy, I would be in a world of trouble.

Jesus Chronicles: The End From The Beginning Part 1

1) He will not honor anything a woman desires (no woman will have rights)

2) He will honor a god of forces (war)

3) He will pay gold and silver as tribute to his god

4) He will honor a god who is not the God of his ancestors (his God is a recent)

This is the Assyrian, the Pharaoh of Egypt, the Prince of Tyre, the King of Babylon, the man of sin, the son of perdition, the antichrist

Jesus Chronicles: Israel’s Home

In the Arab world, you can not find a map with the name Israel. They say Palestine. When the nations declare hatred against Israel, what are they referring to? Not what, who. It’s the Jewish people all around the world, including in the land they refer to as Palestine. Rome is the country that named Israel Palestine in around 130AD. The Palestinians from that time were actually Jewish people. The Philistines, in the Bible, referred to in Joel 3 as Palestinians, were not from there. They were from Caphtor. Philistia means “land of sojourners.” It’s not their land. (The Avims actually dwelt in that portion of the land before the Caphtorites destroyed them and settled there.)

Jesus Rhymes: Don’t Be a Side Show

Don’t be a side show

Bobbin and weavin for the people
Illegal access to God
Preachin and singin a gospel
That ain’t lethal
It don’t kill the flesh
It’s not a test
To see how far you can come back
To get on track that’s nonsense
Stay the course
All the foolery you encounter
Just light a torch
That’s a road you don’t have to travel
He pounded gavel
It’s done it’s finished
I’m a witness
Cause the shed blood
Threw up cautions signs
And warning lights
Don’t go that way
This is your brain on drugs
Scrambled if you try to pave a path
For a testimony a story
You Israel
Your life becomes an allegory
It’s not worth it
You end up goin through the motions
Thank you Jesusin
And Saduceein and Phariseein
High priestin
Crucify Christ again
Religious
Stop it
You outta pocket
Holy Spirit will Teach you
Holy Spirit the Leader
Burn your bones like ether
Keep you talking bout Jesus
Morning noon and night
On fire for the LORD
Tellin what He’s about
And what He do
YOU WILL NOT LOSE

The LORD: Meticulous

I like that God used a CPA/IRS Agent in Matthew, and a Physician/Scientist in Luke. In Matthew’s ledger, he systematically chronicles all of the fine details to ensure accuracy. In Luke’s treatise and his dissertation, he catalogs the evidences that confirm his belief. This is not a coincidence. “Coincidence” can not be found in the Hebrew language.

Poetry In Motion: The Sacrifice of God

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. – Isaiah 53:5

The flesh was torn with Blood everywhere
A crown of thorns parted Your hair
The shed Blood paid, more than enough
The old, rugged cross, coarse and rough
Step after step, You bore our sin
The enemy was happy, but he didn’t win
Insult to injury, a spear in the Side
Accusations and mocking and absolute lies
Hours and hours You hung there for me
In all of my wrong, You still set me free
You cried out for Abba and gave up the ghost
Salvation was calling, salvation was close
You journeyed through hell, preaching and teaching
In the pit were people, arms outstretched reaching
You took the keys and liberty, proclaimed
This time Father was calling Your name
Up onto earth to make men witness
That just like You said, about Father’s business
Higher and Higher up into the clouds
With shouts of the angels louder, loud!

HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LAMB SLAIN!
HOLY, HOLY, HOLY IS THE LAMB SLAIN!

Present to His Majesty the Precious Oil
The Blood of Jesus, all evil is foiled
Seated to His right, High Priest and King
Holy Spirit, the Comforter, go do Your thing
A plan so perfect, Jesus paid the price
God loves us so much, He became the Sacrifice
